The Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager by overseeing the efficient operation of the branch to ensure all operational functions are completely and properly performed by the staff while conveying a feeling of trust, service, security and satisfaction to customer and staff. The duties of the Assistant Branch Manager are contingent on the scope of the services that are offered at the facility. The position is responsible for overseeing the EBT System, Lenovo CMS, ASUS Lean Service and customer service duties. The Assistant Branch Manager must have a familiarity with IT services, store products and warranty services. Although not primarily responsible for sales administration, the Assistant Branch Manager will be available to assist the retail sales personnel during peak periods

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MISSION POSSIBLE. You are capable to do things that measures what really matter, learn the process of FIFO (First in First Out), work on cases to understand the nuances of the process and master it to become a subject matter expert in a short period of time and handle escalations from internal customers (Retail outlet and End User) to give full details on user issues. The Gigahertz Fulfilment (Warehouse and Logistics) Team are the people working behind the scenes to make sure that our front liners are equipped to deliver Proactive Service Committed Care to as many of our customers as possible.  The Fulfilment team takes a Mission Possible approach in making sure that each one of the over 1000 orders per day from our retail outlets and corporate clients are served in a timely, and accurate manner. We make sure that our products and solutions go from our warehouse to our stores’ shelves to our customers on time, all the time.

III. What are the Delivery Driver’s Scope and Responsibilities?

  1. The main responsibility of a Gigahertz Delivery Driver is to distribute promptly from the Gigahertz Fulfilment Center (warehouse) to the stores, and in some cases from the stores to other stores or back to the warehouse.
  2. The driver must meticulously check and count the goods before loading them into his or her delivery vehicle. Any discrepancies between invoiced goods and actual goods must be raised to the warehouse dispatch team.
  3. The driver must be able to handle and organize documents effectively to serve as a means to track the transfer of accountability of goods being transported
  4. The driver must be computer literate and should learn basic operation of the Gigahertz ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning Software) particularly the module on how to receive goods upon arrival in the retail stores.
  5. The driver must be able to follow route and time schedules as the Logistics Specialist will be tracking his or her movement against a strict schedule.
  6. Operation and maintenance of a motorized vehicle, truck, van or motorcycle.

III. What must the Fulfilment Center Team Leader’s Qualifications Be?

The delivery driver will be routinely transporting truckloads of fast-moving high-value goods from the warehouse to the retail stores, hence he or she must be trustworthy. The delivery driver may be subject to in-depth background checks, character reference verifications, even scrutiny by a third party security agency and lie detector tests.

Proactivity recurring problems that prevent the delivery driver from executing his task are: breakdown in the motorized vehicle, failed delivery due to mall restrictions on delivery times or because of the store’s failure to procure a delivery permit, delayed delivery due to misallocated or damaged stocks. The delivery driver must be cognizant of these problems and prepare for them before they arise.

Take Charge. Delivery drivers are accountable not only for the safekeeping of the stocks while they are under their care, but they must also make sure that the stocks reach their intended destination on time

In case of disputes, the HR Generalist takes charge of all labor cases by preparing the necessary supporting documents and act as representative of the company in attending mediations and legal case meetings.

The Gigahertz Fulfilment (Warehouse and Logistics) Team are the people working behind the scenes to make sure that our front liners are equipped to deliver Proactive Service Committed Care to as many of our customers as possible.  The Fulfilment team takes a Mission Possible approach in making sure that each one of the over 1000 orders per day from our retail outlets and corporate clients are served in a timely, and accurate manner. We make sure that our products and solutions go from our warehouse to our stores’ shelves to our customers on time, all the time.

III. What are the Order Picker’s Scope and Responsibilities?

  1. The order picker will be given full custody of one zone in a fulfilment center that stores up to thousands of items at one time.  The order picker takes Accountability over these items and makes sure that items are all present by performing a regular cycle count.
  2. The order picker must learn a.) the different sku’s (stock keeping units) that the fulfilment center houses, and b.) the ERP software that controls the movement of these sku’s.
  3. The main task of the order picker is to prepare orders dictated by the ERP software by pulling stocks from the racks, scanning the items’ barcodes into the system, and printing out documentation for proper turnover of the goods.
  4. The order picker is also in charge of put away and storage, restocking his racks with inventory from the receiving department.
  5. The order picker must keep an organized record of all documents that support incoming and outgoing items of his or her assigned zone.
  6. The order picker is also in charge of maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.

III. What must the Order Picker’s Qualifications Be?

Honesto is our primary qualification. Thousands of fast-moving high-value goods housed in his zone will be entrusted to the Order picker. The order picker may be subject to in-depth background checks, character reference verifications, even scrutiny by a third party security agency and lie detector tests.

Proactivity recurring problems that prevent the order picker from executing his task are: internet down time, errors in the erp, misallocated and damaged sku’s. The order picker must be cognizant of these problems and prepare for them before they arise.

Be Reachable.  Order pickers need to be excellent communicators. They need to constantly coordinate with other members of the fulfilment center, as well as other departments usually to resolve conflicts in the ERP system (IT, Purchasing), and to manage delivery lead times (Purchasing).

Take Charge. Effective Order pickers have a high order fill rate and low stock variance. They take accountability for any delivery failures on their part as well as inventory pilferage.

Gigacated Long hours may be expected from the order pickers, especially during the holiday season or on weekends when orders from the fulfilment center grows in volume. Order pickers must understand that their commitment to the job is necessary for Gigahertz to fulfil its commitment to our customers.

  1. Organizational skills bordering on Obsessive Compulsion. When you have to do a daily count on things that move on a daily basis, you almost have to be “O.C.” to get things done right
  2. The ability to learn, use, and suggest improvements on an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software, which dictates and documents the movement of every item coming in or out of his or her zone.
  3. Time Management – Multiple tasks will come at the order picker at one time, he must be able to apply the first things first principle and decide which tasks to prioritize.
  4. Documentation Skills – handling documents is a necessary skill in case the system breaks down and the fulfilment center needs to revert back to paper.

To increase Sell-out , Product Managers should conduct Action plan or proposed Action Plan before being told so. If he encountered system problem like syncing, he will directly report it to the IT department before the problem got worst. He also don’t give External Excuses on to why the job wasn’t done. In the event of the supplier had no stocks of some units, he will find all the possible way to get stock of the needed units because he knows that it is his responsibility. Being PROACTIVE rather than reactive means to control a situation rather than letting it control you.

I. What is the Gigahertz Warehouse About ?

The Gigahertz Fulfilment (Warehouse and Logistics) Team are the people working behind the scenes to make sure that our front liners are equipped to deliver Proactive Service Committed Care to as many of our customers as possible.  The Fulfilment team takes a Mission Possible approach in making sure that each one of the over 1000 orders per day from our retail outlets and corporate clients are served in a timely, and accurate manner. We make sure that our products and solutions go from our warehouse to our stores’ shelves to our customers on time, all the time.

The Gigahertz Branch Team are the people working in front of our customers that are equipped to deliver Proactive Service Committed Care. They consist of Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, Inventory Custodian, Head Technician and Retail Sales Personnel.  The Branch Team takes charge in making sure that they educate each of our customers in all the items that we cater. The Branch Team takes a Mission Possible approach in meeting their sales target by providing quality service.

III. What are the Fulfilment Center Team Leader’s Scope and Responsibilities

The Fulfilment Center Team Leader is responsible for making sure that all sub departments of the center including but not limited to: Receiving, Putaway, Storage, Order Picking,  Checking, Packing, Shipping, as well as management of cross branch deliveries (RMS) operate at the optimal level at all times.

The Team Leader must ensure that the fulfilment center is capable of delivering the immediate volume requirements of the business  while at the same time analyzing current processes and systems to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of fulfilment center operations.

Aside from increasing productivity and accuracy of fulfilment center operations, the team leader must also work to reduce cost whilst improving customer service to its internal customers, the retail stores and corporate clients.

III. What must the Fulfilment Center Team Leader’s Qualifications Be?

Honesto is our primary qualification. The Fulfilment Center Manager will be the main custodian of huge amounts of fast-moving high-value products. Integrity is a non-negotiable. The Fulfilment Center Leader may be subject to in-depth background checks, character reference verifications, even scrutiny by a third party security agency and lie detector tests.

Proactivity is a habit that must be ingrained in the Fulfilment Center Team Leader. He or she must be  able to anticipate problems and set policy changes to prevent the onset of potential hazards. For problems that already exist, the Team Leader must be able to react quickly and drive change to prevent future occurrences.

The Team Leader sees the current scenario and draws it out in an AS-IS flowchart, identifying bottlenecks and weak points. He or she must then be able to come up with a TO-BE flowchart highlighting the changes and improvements in the system and communicate this to all members of the Fulfilment Center all the while maintaining and sharing a Mission Possible mindset.

Be Reachable. The Fulfilment Center Team Leader must be a master communicator. The complexity of the operations require regular written and verbal communication exchanges between members of the Fulfilment Centers and between the Fulfilment Center and its internal customers (retail outlets) and partners (Merchandsing team, Marketing team). The Fulfilment Center Team Leader will not be effective if he or she does not apply excellent communication standards from simple acknowledgement emails to more complex new procedures that need to be communicated to multiple persons in multiple locations. Aside from being an excellent communicator himself, the Team Leader must require and develop all members of his team to Be Reachable as well.

Take Charge. The Fulfilment Center Team Leader makes sure that documentation for every policy or procedure is clear to all members of his team (Fulfilment Center team members) and his internal customers (Retail Outlets, Corporate clients) and partners (Merchandising Team, Marketing Team and IT). Accountability by each entity in each process is clearly defined, and in the case of any breakdown in the process, the Leader must make the hard choice of coming down on violators with disciplinary sanctions.

  3. Able to run a Time and Motion Study on all business units within his or her Center
  4. Able to learn, use, and suggest improvements on an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software
  5. Able to handle, investigate and document service failures
  6. Able to keep a regular accurate cycle count
  7. Able to keep a daily warehouse operation log
  8. Able to manage and maintain an archive of documents

V.  Immersion – trial by fire
